Hey, it’s me,

Marie.

My friends find me creative, social and funny (my clumsiness has something to with this, I am sure). My parents think I am stubborn, helpful and a go-getter. I believe in honesty, taking care of each other and the power of smiling. Authentic is not just a word to me. I strive to be authentic in my everyday life and in my work.  Recently, I discovered that shooting in the documentary style is one of the best ways for me to bring authenticity to my work. True visuals that capture someone’s soul and personality, or the dynamic with the people around them. In other words, visuals that tell real stories about real people. Visuals that matter.

My ‘Day in the Life’ sessions are meant to do exactly this.  I strive to capture compelling photos that reflect those special moments of love, tenderness and the wonderful chaos in a family’s daily life. Like mom making a serious phone call, while her little boy sneaks under her skirt while playing hide and seek. Or dad gazing proudly at his daughter while she is reading him a favorite bedtime story about a princess called Miss Candy.

If you are curious or interested in what I can do for you, just give me a call or send me an e-mail.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

P.S. In case you find it important to know who I work(ed) for, here a few names: ALO, AD Magazine, BNN, ID&T, IDTV, Lidl, NVP, Omroep MAX, National Geographic, TotaalTV, Tovertafel, Veronica.
